Create your character.
Sometimes it pays to create TWO main characters. One may shine in the creation process and be the one you feel the most connected to. The other one can fall away completely or become your deuteragonist.

| I cannot go because I am too young and I don’t want to die at my age. It is unfair I have to go because I am the youngest and the elder brother should go, not the younger. | You get to know a character by what he says and what others say about him. | Don’t want to go because of my religion. Likes, Dislikes, Motivations and Flaws
Likes their family support
Likes having loved ones around them
Likes strong rich coffee
Likes being a group (one)
Like to feel accomplished
Dislikes being alone
Dislikes being in pain (physically and mentally)
Dislikes being under pressure
Dislikes repeaditiness
Motivated towards things they want to achieve
Motivated because of the satisfaction
Motivation when they are happy
Motivation when family and friends are around
Flaws: Not very great at being away from home (home sick)
Flaws: Mornings (not a morning person, needs sleep)
Flaws: Hates being underground (trenches)
Ask yourself –
What makes these complex and rich characters?
What makes them get out of bed every morning?

Being active to accomplish goals throughout the day
New day (refresh if bad day was yesterday)
What stops them from achieving their ultimate goals in life?
